Almost exactly one year ago, my girlfriend of 1 1/2 years broke up with me. I held on for the past year blindly hoping for some kind of reconciliation with her. I finally realized that it is never going to happen and after a year of deluding myself with false hope, I decided to give up waiting and start dating other women.
I joined an online dating website. A different site than the one she and I met on. I chatted with several nice, available, attractive women, but when I suggested a face-to-face meeting of some sort, they always come up with some lame excuse as to why they cannot meet me in person.
What follows are some of the ACTUAL excuses given to me by various women for why they can't meet me in person, word for word.
"Sorry, had twelve hour day and still doing paperwork from it. I am heading to Fresno for work, and leaving tomorrow."
What about this one?
"My boyfriend that I had been moving away from seeing showed up at my work party last night. He and I just have too many issues to still work thru this weekend."
Or maybe this one?
"I broke my arm and am having surgery tomorrow so I'm out of commission for next two weeks!"
Or how about this one?
"My mom started chemo this week and it has affected her really hard. It's a bit chaotic so I need to focus on that for a while."
SERIOUSLY? Just how retarded do you women think I am? You are on this site to actually meet someone, right???
