Life at the moment at least has the appearance of returning to some sense of normality.
In 2 hours I have a 2nd interview at the DoubleTree Hotel. This time with the GM. I know Steve has probably put in a good work for me. That can only help, seeing as I'm applying for the Front Desk and he's the new Front Office manager.
I'm dating again. Her name's Felice. She's an Angel. Any woman who will stick by a man whom she just started dating and be there with him through all the things that have happened to me in the last month is DEFINITELY a keeper!
Actually I've been thinking I may keep her for the rest of my life...if she'll have me.
So things are at least beginning to look up.
I have a million, very substantial bills due. I'm just going to have to figure them out one at a time.
My credit card bill is over $300.
My cell phone? Almost $200...thanks to being put on hold for HOURS by the Unemployment office I DOUBLED my monthly minutes allowance. I'm UNEMPLOYED you idiots!!!
Rent is due in 5 days, that's another $675.
I need to come up with $1175 within the next 1 to 2 weeks. 3 at the outside.
Thank God for Felice, my angel. At least something in my life is going right...
